4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and certain third-party service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate our websites, understand how visitors use them, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and improve our products and services.
We currently use technologies that may include:
Google Analytics to understand website traffic and how visitors interact with our websites;
Meta Pixel to measure website activity and the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising; and
LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand website activity and measure the performance of our LinkedIn marketing and advertising.
These technologies may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, links clicked, referring websites, approximate location, and interactions with our websites.
We may use these or similar technologies in the future for additional advertising purposes, including creating advertising audiences or delivering targeted or retargeted advertising. If our use of these technologies materially changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices, consent mechanisms, or opt-out choices required by applicable law.
You may be able to control certain cookies and tracking technologies through our cookie-consent tool, browser settings, or privacy controls provided by the applicable third-party platforms.
5. Do Not Track and Privacy Preference Signals
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting.
Because there is not a single universally accepted standard governing traditional DNT signals, our websites may not respond to DNT signals in all circumstances.
Where applicable law requires us to recognize legally valid universal opt-out mechanisms or other privacy preference signals, we will endeavor to honor those signals as required.
California requires commercial website operators covered by CalOPPA to disclose how they respond to DNT signals and whether third parties may collect personally identifiable information across websites or services.
6. How We Share Information
We do not disclose personal information indiscriminately.
We may disclose information to service providers and contractors that help us operate our business, such as providers of:
website hosting;
community and membership platforms;

email and newsletter delivery;
customer relationship management;
scheduling;
video conferencing;
webinar and event hosting;
analytics;
advertising and marketing;
surveys and assessments;
artificial intelligence;
cloud storage;
automation;
customer support; and
professional services.
These providers may process information as necessary to perform services for us and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose information:
To comply with law. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena, or governmental request.
To protect rights and safety. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security issues, violations of our Terms, or threats to the rights or safety of us or others.
In connection with a business transaction. If Hao Enterprises LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
With your direction or consent. We may disclose information when you ask us to or otherwise consent.
7. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Hao Enterprises LLC does not sell personal information for money.
We currently use analytics and advertising measurement technologies, including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag. Depending on how these technologies operate and applicable law, certain transfers of information to these providers may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information even when we do not receive money in exchange.
We do not currently use personal information collected through our websites to conduct targeted or retargeted advertising.
We may choose to use targeted or retargeted advertising in the future. If we do, we will update our privacy practices and provide any disclosures, consent mechanisms, or opt-out rights required by applicable law.
8. Artificial Intelligence Tools
Some of our programs and services may include AI-powered tools, coaches, assistants, or integrations.
Information you submit to these tools may be transmitted to and processed by third-party AI service providers in order to generate responses or provide the requested functionality.
You should not submit confidential, legally privileged, financial-account, health, identity-document, password, or other highly sensitive information to our AI tools unless specifically instructed that the tool is designed to process that information.
AI providers may have their own privacy practices governing their processing of information.
9. Behavioring Lab and Community Information
If you participate in the Behavioring Lab or another community we operate, information you voluntarily post may be visible to other members.
This may include your:
name;
profile information;
photograph;
professional information;
posts and comments;
questions;
ideas;
responses; and
other information you choose to share.
Please use discretion when sharing information in community spaces.
Although our community standards may require members to respect confidentiality, we cannot guarantee that another member will keep information you voluntarily disclose confidential.
10. Live Calls and Recordings
Certain webinars, trainings, Q&A sessions, workshops, or community events may be recorded.
If you participate using your voice, video, name, chat messages, or other identifiable contributions, that information may appear in a recording.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice that a session is being recorded.
Recordings may be made available to members or participants as part of our educational programs.
We will not intentionally use an identifiable participant contribution as a public testimonial or advertisement merely because it appeared in a member training without obtaining any permission required by applicable law.
11. Testimonials
If you voluntarily provide a testimonial, review, success story, photograph, video, or other feedback, we may ask for permission to use it for promotional or educational purposes.
Where permission is required, we will use identifiable testimonials in accordance with that permission.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing services, maintaining accounts, processing transactions, complying with legal and tax obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, maintaining appropriate business records, and protecting our legal interests.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Minnesota's requirements for covered controllers include describing retention policies and generally prohibit retaining personal data that is no longer relevant and reasonably necessary to the disclosed purpose, subject to exceptions.
13. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
However, no website, online service, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords and credentials associated with your accounts.
14. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, potentially including the right to:
request access to personal information we maintain about you;
request correction of inaccurate information;
request deletion of certain information;
obtain a copy of certain information;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
opt out of certain targeted advertising;
opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information;
opt out of certain profiling activities; and
appeal certain decisions regarding a privacy request.
The exact rights available to you depend on applicable law and whether that law applies to Hao Enterprises LLC and the particular information involved.
Minnesota's Consumer Data Privacy Act applies only when specified thresholds and other criteria are met; the Minnesota Attorney General notes that small businesses are generally exempt from most of the Act, although they remain prohibited from selling sensitive data without prior consent.
To submit a privacy request, contact:
Hello@howiechan.com
Please include sufficient information for us to reasonably identify you and understand your request.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
15. California Privacy Disclosures
If you are a California resident, California privacy laws may provide additional rights depending on whether the particular law applies to our business and processing activities.
California's CalOPPA requires operators of commercial websites and online services that collect personally identifiable information from California consumers to conspicuously post a privacy policy containing specified disclosures.
If Hao Enterprises LLC becomes subject to additional requirements under the California Consumer Privacy Act or other California privacy laws, we will provide applicable disclosures and rights as required by law.
16. Children's Privacy
Our websites, programs, memberships, and services are intended for adults and are not directed toward children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent under applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided us personal information inappropriately, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Hao Enterprises LLC is based in the United States.
If you access our websites or services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your country.
18. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our websites and services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, applications, or services.
We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties.
When you leave our website or interact directly with a third-party service, we encourage you to review that provider's privacy policy.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, services, or legal obligations.
The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when this Privacy Policy was most recently revised.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
Minnesota requires covered controllers to provide notice of material privacy-policy changes to affected consumers and a reasonable opportunity to withdraw consent to changed collection, processing, or transfer practices.
